The Panama City Beach Chamber and Gulf Coast Jam have partnered to host the 3rd Annual Jam on the Coast 5K run. The Start/Finish line is located at the gates of the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam, and the route takes participants through Frank Brown Park and Gayle's Trails. All runners will receive a moisture-wicking shirt, a finisher medal, and an exclusive coupon for Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam merchandise. The race fee is $45. The Central Panhandle Association of ReEALTOR®(R) will be hosting its inaugural Aces & Eights Casino night at the Lyndell Conference Center this month so dust off your cowboy boots! This wild west-themed event will feature casino games, heavy hor d'oeuvres, cocktails, raffles, and cash prizes for the top winners. Guests will have the opportunity to play casino favorites including blackjack, roulette, craps, and poker. Proceeds for this event will benefit Anchorage Children's Home, a local non-profit organization providing emergency shelter, street outreach, family counseling, and a variety of greatly needed services for abused and homeless youth in the community. Tickets are $60.

After a ten-year hiatus, the Bay Point Billfish Open returns to the all-new Point South Marina at Bay Point this year! Like other popular tournaments, the Bay Point Billfish Open will include pelagic species such as blue marlin, tuna, wahoo, and dolphinfish, as well as catch and release for all the Gulf of Mexico Billfish species. The event will include live music concerts, an in and out of the water boat show, food, drinks, and sport fishing. Cash prizes will be given to the top three places with teams fishing in five categories: blue marlin, tuna, wahoo, dolphinfish, and catch and release.
